We beat WoW, see everyone in Cataclysm !

Ok ok, so we are not really quitting, but we did get a 2nd end game boss down in as many days. Now that Lich King is dead we decided to turn our attention to Ruby Sanctum and in just a few attempts Halion was dead. Finishing an expansion is a great feeling. We have accomplished the goals we set months ago and we can now approach heroic encounters from a different perspective. I myself look forward to what Cataclysm will bring, in the mean time we'll turn our focus towards Heroic ICC.

I love it when a plan comes together...

After a month of hard work, the Lich King is dead.

I must say that I am very impressed by the dedication and perseverance of the guild, in doing what it took to accomplish this goal. We had many nights of members sitting out and listening on vent, many nights where someone replaced another for just a single attempt, many nights of swapping different classes/specs in and out, many days and nights of recruiting so we would have these options...

I dedicate this kill to all those people, to the guild.

We have decided to open our doors once again for a select few classes.

Rogue x2 - Combat/Mut
DK x1 - Spec to be determined
Elemental Shaman x1
Priest x1 - Disc/Holy

We are currently working on Lich King 25m and intend to start Heroic 25m in the near future.

In order to be considered you must be able to maintain satisfactory raid attendance (Tues-Thurs 8-11pm EST), have practical knowledge regarding ALL of ICC and you must be able to answer at least 2 of the following 4 questions !

1) How many eggs can you put in an empty basket?
2) If you take three apples from five apples, how many do you have?
3) What gets bigger the more you take away?
4) The man who invented it doesn't want it. The man who bought it doesn't need it. The man who needs it doesn't know it. What is it?

Over the years of playing various MMO's killing dragons is something RoD has excelled at. From the days of Everquest, close to 10 years ago, we have put to rest well over 20 dragons.

So I was told by the guild if I did not update the news I would be forced to wear a pink ballerina tutu for the rest of the month. I thought about it and who really doesn't like silky things...but after much deliberation, I decided that pink and orc doesn't really go well together...

This is actually last week's news...





So RoD is now 10/12....

One thing I can say for certain is that over the last decade of playing together we have killed many many dragons...

RoD is recruiting !

In order to wrap up the final few bosses in ICC and to bolster our roster for the summer, we are selectively recruiting the following classes...

DPS x4 - Hunter, Enh/Ele Shaman, Boomkin - Must be capable of 6-7K or higher
Healing x1 - Resto Druids get first priority
Tank x1

We raid Tues-Thurs 8:00-11:00pm EST

We are currently 11/12 10man (3 different 10man groups on the go) and 8/12 25man

We are Horde and reside on VELEN Server...
